Background
Dr Besi trained in anaesthetics through the North West London Deanery. She subsequently completed fellowships in neuroanaesthesia at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, and in Advanced Airway Management.
Dr Besi was appointed as a substantive consultant anaesthetist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2025. Her areas of expertise include neuroanaesthesia and complex airway management.
