Nadeem Qazi

Background

Dr Nad Qazi is an interventional and musculoskeletal radiologist, specialising in diagnostic imaging, sports injury diagnostics, and a wide repertoire of vascular, non-vascular and interventional oncology procedures.

He is the clinical site lead for imaging at Charing Cross Hospital and former head of specialty for interventional radiology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

His specialist interventional interests include tumour ablation, targeted embolisation therapies, and a wide range of image-guided musculoskeletal procedures, including joint, tendon and soft-tissue interventions. His background in sports and exercise medicine supports a comprehensive, patient-focused approach to MSK diagnostics and therapy.

He qualified from Imperial College London in 1993, reading for MD in HIV Medicine and Immunology, and commenced specialist radiology training in 2003.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists before undertaking sub-specialty interventional vascular and hepatobiliary radiology training at King’s College London.

He went on to complete prestigious musculoskeletal radiology fellowships at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, followed by an international fellowship at the University of California, San Diego and Los Angeles.

His MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine (Distinction) further enhances his ability to deliver integrated, high-quality MSK imaging and intervention.
