Located at both the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital and Thames View at Charing Cross Hospital, our internationally renowned gastroenterologists are experts in diagnosing and managing a comprehensive range of common and complex digestive conditions. We use the latest technology and advanced techniques to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Services we offer
Our gastroenterology department provides a comprehensive service for the diagnosis and care of patients with a wide range of gastroenterological conditions.
These include:
- bowel cancer screening
- change in bowel habit (diarrhoea and / or constipation)
- coeliac disease (inflammatory reaction to grain proteins like gluten)
- functional dyspepsia (digestion problems)
- gastro-oesophageal reflux (acid coming from the stomach to oesophagus)
- gastrointestinal bleeding
- inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- nutritional problems
- irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- peptic ulcer disease (PUD)
