Background
Dr Simon is an experienced consultant gastroenterologist specialising in conditions of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts (HPB system). He has a strong interest in advanced, minimally invasive endoscopy, offering state-of-the-art procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP to treat complex pancreatic and biliary problems without major surgery.
Alongside his specialist work, Dr Simon provides expert care for a wide range of general gastroenterology concerns, including indigestion, acid reflux, abdominal pain and changes in bowel habits. He performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polyp removal, dilatation and stent placement, always with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Dr Simon completed specialist training at Paris Sorbonne University teaching hospitals before undertaking a senior fellowship in HPB endoscopy at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London, where he developed expertise in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. Alongside clinical work, Dr Simon is involved in research and education. He contributes to the development of innovative endoscopic techniques and helps train future gastroenterologists.
